The jobs behind the online shopping experience, what each team does, the skills needed and how to start in e-commerce.
The short version
Every online order passes through many hands: someone listed the product, someone supported the seller, someone packed the box, someone delivered it, and someone helped when it went wrong. Each of those is a career.

- The customer places an order.
- The seller or warehouse picks, packs and hands the order to logistics.
- The courier delivers it, and the order status updates.
- Payment is settled with the seller.
- If needed, returns, refunds and support teams step in.
