JobKarle salary data methodology
JobKarle salary intelligence summarizes salary ranges advertised in qualifying current JobKarle job listings. It is not a comprehensive national compensation survey and does not describe what all employees earn.
Eligible observations
Only published, unexpired, visible-salary JobKarle listings with positive and internally consistent minimum and maximum values are included. Hyrix listings, hidden salaries, unsupported frequencies, drafts, closed or expired jobs, and annualized values outside ₹60,000 to ₹1 crore are excluded.
JobKarle currently stores salary amounts without a separate currency field for each listing. This salary intelligence therefore includes only JobKarle-originated listings and interprets their amounts under the platform's current INR salary convention.
Normalization and median
Explicit monthly values are multiplied by 12. Explicit annual values are used directly. Hourly, daily, weekly and missing-frequency values are excluded. Each listing contributes its advertised range minimum, maximum and midpoint; the midpoint is not treated as an employee's actual salary. Median midpoint, median minimum and median maximum are each calculated independently across eligible observations. The observed range runs from the lowest valid advertised minimum to the highest valid advertised maximum.
Thresholds and freshness
Role pages require five observations; pages with five to nine are noindex. Ten or more are indexable and sitemap-eligible. Location breakdowns require five eligible observations per location after applying the same eligibility rules. The current implementation uses active public listings under JobKarle's 60-day publication lifecycle.
